Vending Company Services...
Vending machines are everywhere! Have you ever wondered how all those machines get there? Most businesses have employees, clients, or partners that are on the property part of the day if not all day long. Of course, these people need to eat! Often there may be a nearby restaurant, deli, or convenience store which can be good and bad. They can get a break to satisfy the tummy, but many times this leads to multiple trips per day or extended breaks to the offsite refreshment stop. So, the convenience can result in lost productivity for the company.
Many businesses have vending machines on the premises to provide snacks, sodas, candy, gum, pastries, soups, sandwiches, etc.. for their staff, but many other businesses do not realize how to obtain a machine for their company use. Some simply don’t realize that most vending company services are free. Vending companies is willing to place vending machines in locations and service them while expecting the sales from those snack and soda products to more than cover their initial cost of the equipment, product cost and spoilage, maintenance expenses, man hours, and transportation costs. An office already has the need, and vending company services are the solution. Some businesses might buy their own machines and let an employee stock them, but others prefer to let someone else handle all of that so they can focus on their business. After all, it doesn’t cost anything. In fact, it’s possible to actually get paid by letting a vending company provide their free snack and soda vending service.
Commissions are often paid to the location, but keep in mind that commissions are additional expense and will normally increase the price of the products in the machines proportionately. So, as a business with employees to consider, is it more important to make a small commission when someone uses the machines or to allow the best possible prices for the office workers? On the other hand, if the businesses’ customers will be the primary users of the vending equipment, the decision maker may be more inclined to go for the commission!
